Poor Arnie...
Such a shocking injury, full on body twitching, almost David Busst level!

How will we cope without him? We are doomed! If only we had some promising youngsters.

I'm guessing someone told him he is an awful, awful footballer, and the truth obviously hurts.

thought his hand must of fallen off given how much he was squirming about

My son broke his wrist about a year ago when he was 14. The doctor sat him down and set the bone. He was white and screaming but wasn't flailing around like he was having a palsy.

Don't think much of the bloke.

Seems like a broken thumb.
Which hurts, especially if dislocated.
He played well today, though should have scored.
Obviously running low on confidence, like them all.
Put in a shift though, which he's been criticised for.
Still, let's stag him off and call him a wimp.
It's the west ham way.

Our best player today - showed glimpses of the player he can be

Re: Poor Arnie...
He played well?

Is a "cross" into the box from ten yards into the opposition half with acres of space to run into "playing alright"?

We have some "special" fans alright.

Re: Poor Arnie...
I honestly think he demanded to stay on knowing full well that they would sub him anyway but then he'd look like some kind of hero rather than the mercenary prick that he is. He's signed his lucrative contract and doesn't give a flying fuck.

He actually looked a bit better today but fuck me are we dog shit in the transfer market. There seems to be no research on the mindset of the players we sign or how they will fit into our system.

I make you right. He went down holding his left wrist, and at some point in the first 5 seconds he decided it was the right wrist... watch if back a few times if you don't believe it. He wanted to come off, is all... it's all he could think to do, thick bugger. You can see Zab looks at Lanzini and raises his eyebrows...

There appears to be no rhyme, reason or research behind our big money purchases, like they have in place at Soton etc. Arnie is a mental wild card, not the place to blow 24M tbh.

And wtf was Carroll's game, then... obviously the missus needs him around to rinse nappies out for a few weeks...

I knew he was a colossal grade A pan-buster when we signed him...I didn't even flinch - he is fucking rubbish and no mistake...

Re: Poor Arnie...
I'm probably the only one on here stupid to have watched MotD to see the highlights of that shambles, but they said that there was footage of the incident from another angle, but they weren't going to show it because it was too unpleasant.

It'll probably be leaked, so I wouldn't go over the top on the "fuss about nothing" angle.

Re: Poor Arnie...
Sounds like it might actually be quite nasty. Don't wish that on him, however as it's arm rather than leg related he might be back before too long.

Saying he wanted to come off or was faking it is plain stupid. He was trying to tell the bench he wanted to continue, for one thing. Secondly it was quite clearly a legit injury.

However, on what I've seen so far this season he won't be missed in the slightest and will be just as effective from his hospital bed or sofa than as he has from our right wing.

Re: Poor Arnie...
Did people slagging him off actually watch the game?

He was the one player that really looked up for it, which is surely what we would have expected of ALL the players.

broken thumb, not sure why he was flipping his legs, guess the pain must have from his thumb all the way down to his toes!
